As one of the most competitive Formula 1 seasons fades into the rearview mirror, motorsport fans eagerly anticipate the 2025 campaign, which promises an abundance of drama and high-octane racing.

With Lewis Hamilton now behind the wheel of a Ferrari, and rivals Max Verstappen and Lando Norris set to renew their fierce competition, fans can expect thrilling races at 24 circuits worldwide.

Car launches: the season’s first glimpse

The new season kicks off with the much-anticipated car launch events, where each team unveils its new challenger. Traditionally, each team hosts its own event, but this year introduces a novel twist. F1 has organized an all-inclusive season launch event scheduled for February 18 at London’s O2 Arena. This grand occasion will feature all drivers and teams, with F1 promising a showcase of livery reveals.

While this central launch is a new addition, traditional individual car launches remain in place. Williams and Ferrari are the first to confirm their dates, with more teams expected to follow suit.

The 2025 season officially commences with a return to Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix from March 14-16, marking a nostalgic shift from recent season-openers in Bahrain. The race is just one of 24 thrilling events on the calendar, featuring an expansive international journey.

There are six Sprint weekends to look forward to, featuring more racing.

The United States will serve as a key host, boasting three Grands Prix in Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas. Additionally, the calendar features six much-anticipated Sprint weekends, promising even more racing action and points on offer.

Nov. 21-23: Las Vegas Grand Prix, Las Vegas

The season will conclude in Abu Dhabi at the Yas Marina Circuit from December 5-7, promising an electrifying climax to a year of spectacular racing.
