Williams had a slow start, with both cars garage-bound initially.

Max Verstappen struggled with grip and had a near-miss with Hamilton, resulting in frustration. Leclerc retained P1, while Tsunoda’s P3 finish might be under scrutiny for a practice start infringement.
Hamilton and George Russell took P4 and P5, respectively, followed by Ferrari's Carlos Sainz in P6. Verstappen and Sergio Perez finished P7 and P8. Hulkenberg (Haas) secured P9 despite early setbacks, and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) rounded out the top 10.
Daniel Ricciardo claimed P11 in the Red Bull, with Lando Norris in P12. Lance Stroll slotted into P13, ahead of Alpine's Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly. Valtteri Bottas and Kevin Magnussen took P16 and P17, while Williams drivers Albon and Sargeant finished P18 and P20, with Zhou Guanyu in P19.
