YAS ISLAND, Abu Dhabi -- Max Verstappen ends record-breaking season with Abu Dhabi win. Max Verstappen dominated the Formula One season, securing his 19th victory at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. His win moves him to third on the all-time list of career F1 wins. Red Bull's superiority allowed Verstappen to secure the drivers' title in October. It was the perfect end to an incredible season for the 26-year-old.

In a season dominated by Max Verstappen and his Red Bull team, Verstappen sealed a record-extending 19th victory of the year at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Those who expected Max Verstappen to ease off during the season finale in Abu Dhabi were left disappointed. The world champion, instead, continued his dominant performance, concluding a record-breaking year by setting yet more impressive records.

Verstappen's victory in Abu Dhabi marked his fourth consecutive win at the track, a feat he had never accomplished before.

Verstappen's domination in Formula One this year has been unparalleled. With ease and regularity, he once again crossed the finishing line first at the season-ending race held at the Yas Marina Circuit.

With this win, Verstappen now occupies the third spot on the all-time list of career F1 wins with 54 overall, Verstappen has overtaken Sebastian Vettel and now sits in third place on the all-time win list, trailing only Michael Schumacher's 91 wins and Lewis Hamilton's 103 wins.

From start to finish, Verstappen held his lead in Abu Dhabi, claiming his fourth consecutive win. The only driver to challenge him was Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who attempted a move at the first corner but was unsuccessful.

Verstappen's remarkable season saw him accumulate a record-breaking 575 points. He expressed his emotions after the race.

"It was an incredible season," Verstappen said. "It was a bit emotional on the in-lap, it was the last time I was sitting in the car which has of course given me a lot. It will be hard to do something similar again, but we definitely enjoyed this year."

Red Bull's dominance was evident throughout the season, as Verstappen secured the drivers' title in October. At one point, it seemed likely that the team would win every race, but their streak was broken by Carlos Sainz's victory in the Singapore Grand Prix.

Still, Red Bull clinched their second consecutive constructors' championship at the Japanese Grand Prix in September, with six races left to spare. The team's car has been hailed as one of the greatest ever built in the sport, surpassing even the success of last year's model, which won 17 out of 22 races.

Adding to their list of achievements, the team secured a single-season record 20th race win at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. And to culminate the season, Verstappen broke another record by becoming the first driver in history to lead over 1,000 laps in a single season.

In total - Verstappen concludes the year with several record-breaking achievements, including the most single-season wins (19), the longest streak of consecutive race wins (10), the highest number of podium finishes (21), the highest points total (575), and the largest margin of victory in the championship (290 points).

Overall, it has been a truly remarkable year for Max Verstappen and Red Bull, leaving an indelible mark on Formula One history.
