Racing Bulls F1 Team 2026

The Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB), often simply called Racing Bulls, is competing in the 2026 season as the dedicated sister team to Red Bull Racing. Currently sitting 7th in the Constructors' Championship with 14 points, the team is navigating the new technical era with a focus on developing Red Bull's next generation of talent.

2026 Team Lineup & Leadership

Race Drivers: Liam Lawson (No. 30) and Arvid Lindblad (No. 41). Lawson is the team's senior driver in his second full season, while the 18-year-old Lindblad is the only rookie on the 2026 grid.

Team Principal: Alan Permane, who was promoted to the role midway through 2025.

CEO: Peter Bayer.

Test & Reserve Driver: Yuki Tsunoda, who moved into this role for 2026 after four seasons as a race driver for the team.

Current Season Performance (2026)

The team has shown consistent point-scoring ability across the first three rounds of the season:

Australian GP: Arvid Lindblad impressed on his debut, finishing P8 to score 4 points. Liam Lawson finished P13 after being hampered by a turbo issue.

Chinese GP: Liam Lawson secured a P7 finish in both the Sprint and the main Grand Prix.

Japanese GP: Liam Lawson finished P9, adding two more points to the team's tally. Arvid Lindblad finished P14.

Technical Strategy

2026 marks a major technological shift for the team:

Power Unit: The team has transitioned to the Red Bull Ford Powertrains unit, ending an eight-year partnership with Honda.

Design Philosophy: The VCARB 03 chassis features a bold "Sakura-inspired" white, red, and silver livery, designed in collaboration with Japanese calligrapher Bisen Aoyagi.

Facilities: While primarily based in Faenza, Italy, the team recently moved its UK operations to a new facility in Milton Keynes to be closer to its sister team and the new powertrain division.
