Max Verstappen set to become a father, announces girlfriend Kelly Piquet is pregnant

Formula 1 ace Max Verstappen and his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, have announced they are expecting their first child together. The Red Bull racer, aged 27, shared this joyous news via a joint social media post just before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, capping off his fourth world-title victorious season.
Kelly Piquet, known not only for her relationship with Verstappen but also as the daughter of triple F1 World Champion Nelson Piquet, already has a daughter, Penelope, with former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat. Interestingly, it was Verstappen who replaced Kvyat at Red Bull during the 2016 season at the Spanish Grand Prix.
With the baby expected in 2025, Verstappen will join the ranks of current F1 fathers, including his teammate Sergio Pérez and Haas driver Nico Hülkenberg, adding a personal milestone to his racing career.
As Verstappen heads into the role of fatherhood, this personal news may offer him a fresh perspective and a soothing break from the high-octane world of Formula 1 rivalries.
