Kimi Räikkönen is a Finnish former Formula 1 driver, renowned for his ice-cool demeanor and impressive racing talent, earning him the nickname "The Iceman." Born on October 17, 1979, in Espoo, Finland, Räikkönen won the Formula 1 World Championship in 2007 with Ferrari. He made his F1 debut in 2001 with Sauber and soon moved to McLaren, where he became known for his raw speed and fearless driving style. After his success with Ferrari, Räikkönen left Formula 1 in 2009 to compete in the World Rally Championship and NASCAR before returning to the sport in 2012 with Lotus. He later rejoined Ferrari and then drove for Alfa Romeo, displaying remarkable longevity in his career. Räikkönen retired from Formula 1 at the end of the 2021 season, leaving a legacy as one of the sport's most popular and enigmatic figures.
