Racing driver Keke Rosberg: Formula 1 world champion and a true legend of the track

Keke Rosberg is a Finnish former Formula 1 driver who won the World Championship in 1982. Born on December 6, 1948, in Stockholm, Sweden, Rosberg was the first Finnish driver to win the F1 title. He is celebrated for his aggressive driving style and determination, often competing in cars that weren't the fastest on the grid. Rosberg won his championship driving for the Williams team, during a season characterized by a high level of competition with multiple race winners. Following his retirement from Formula 1 in 1986, he transitioned into team management and also managed the racing career of his son, Nico Rosberg, who went on to win the F1 championship in 2016. Keke Rosberg remains a respected figure in motorsport, known for his contributions as both a driver and mentor.
