Red Bull reveals vibrant livery changes for British GP

Red Bull Racing has announced an eye-catching adjustment to its championship-leading Formula 1 car for the upcoming British Grand Prix. To celebrate its 20th season in the sport, the team is adding striking flashes of red paint across its RB20 race car.

This new design is part of Red Bull's initiative that opened fan competitions to design liveries for their cars. The initial design of the year came from Chalaj Suvanish, a fan from Thailand, and was inspired by the team's 2015 preseason testing camouflage livery.

Team boss Christian Horner expressed his excitement, stating, "In our 20th season in the sport, it is a timely tribute to years gone by and I can't wait to see the Red Bull charge out at Silverstone this weekend."

Despite Formula 1 regulations that constrain the extent of changes to a car's color scheme for a one-off event, Red Bull has creatively worked within these limits to produce this refreshed look.

In addition to Red Bull’s vibrant new livery, Williams Racing has also embraced a touch of home for the Silverstone event. The team's FW46 will proudly feature a Union Jack around the airbox, marking its British heritage.

Teams across the paddock have displayed a growing inclination to tweak their cars' appearances for special occasions in recent years. McLaren notably rolled out a green and yellow livery for the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this season, paying tribute to Ayrton Senna, their most successful race driver.

As the British Grand Prix approaches, fans and teams alike eagerly anticipate the refreshed liveries bringing an added layer of excitement and national pride to the event.
