Sprint Qualifying: Verstappen secures pole for Miami sprint qualifying
Max Verstappen claimed pole position for the Miami Sprint after a dominant performance in Friday’s Sprint Qualifying. The defending champion clocked a 1m 27.641s lap, beating Charles Leclerc by 0.108s. Sergio Perez will start third.

McLaren's early session promise faded in SQ3, with Oscar Piastri taking P6 and Lando Norris in P9. The Aston Martin duo of Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso took P7 and P8, while Nico Hulkenberg rounded out the top 10 in the Haas.
Mercedes faced setbacks as both drivers exited in SQ2. George Russell will start P11, and Lewis Hamilton, noted for a pit lane infringement, will line up in P12. Esteban Ocon led Alpine in P13, followed by Kevin Magnussen (Haas) in P14 and Yuki Tsunoda (RB) in P15.
Pierre Gasly had another tough session, finishing P16. Kick Sauber teammates Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas will start P17 and P18, respectively. Williams drivers Logan Sargeant and Alex Albon struggled, finishing P19 and P20, with Albon's lap time deletion moving him down from P16.
Teams now prepare for a competitive Saturday Sprint in Miami.
