Charles Leclerc is a Monegasque racing driver and one of the standout talents of his generation in Formula 1. Born on October 16, 1997, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, he began karting at an early age and rapidly rose through the junior ranks, claiming titles in French F4 and strong results in GP3 and FIA Formula 2, where he won the championship in 2017.
Leclerc made his Formula 1 debut in 2018 with Alfa Romeo Sauber, impressing immediately by consistently out‑performing his machinery. His early promise earned him a move to Scuderia Ferrari in 2019, where he quickly became a fan favourite and one of the team’s leading drivers.
