Charles Leclerc is a Monegasque racing driver and one of the standout talents of his generation in Formula 1. Born on October 16, 1997, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, he began karting at an early age and rapidly rose through the junior ranks, claiming titles in French F4 and strong results in GP3 and FIA Formula 2, where he won the championship in 2017.

Leclerc made his Formula 1 debut in 2018 with Alfa Romeo Sauber, impressing immediately by consistently out‑performing his machinery. His early promise earned him a move to Scuderia Ferrari in 2019, where he quickly became a fan favourite and one of the team’s leading drivers.

Known for his fearlessness, qualifying speed and racecraft, Leclerc has achieved multiple Grand Prix victories and numerous pole positions, establishing himself as a regular front‑runner. His first win came at the 2019 Italian Grand Prix — a hugely popular victory at Ferrari’s home race in Monza.
